We had the device installed in the building’s water system at the beginning of 2004, with the aim of keeping the building’s updated water network and heat exchanger in working order and protecting the property of the association members – plumbing and other household appliances.
Today, even the biggest doubters of that time agree that the association made the right decision.

We were the first housing association in Tallinn to adopt Bauer AK in its water system in 2000.
The greatest economic benefit of the device comes from its purifying and protective effect on the building’s utility networks. In addition to this, the water quality is significantly better – the water is cleaner, less detergent is used, and kitchen appliances remain free of limescale.
Tallink City Hotell
Between 2009 and 2010, Bauer Veetehnika and TLG Hotel conducted a year-long test, monitoring the hotel’s Heating costs after the implementation of Bauer technology and evaluating the performance of the Heating and Water systems.
Analyzing the test results revealed:
- Heating costs decreased by 14.5%
- the proper functioning of thermoregulators was restored, and blockages no longer occurred
- the first filter elements filled with sediment cleaned from the Heating system in just 2 days; 7 filter elements were replaced within a year
- no problems caused by limescale were observed in tap and shower nozzles
- the towel warmer was cleared of sediment

Previously experienced problems with water pressure fluctuations and pipe blockages have been resolved, limescale is easily removed, faucets do not clog and are easy to clean.
Also, the water is softer and cleaner. There has been no need to replace the water boiler in the apartments after installation
Tartu Lõunakeskus
Bauer equipment was installed in the water metering units at Tartu Lõunakeskus in May 2007.
The results are good:
- the sports club has not had to replace steam room elements anymore
- the cleaning staff say that things have become easier
- the commercial kitchen equipment has not broken down due to water either.
So, all in all – we are satisfied

Today we can confirm the following: 3 months after the device was installed, the kettle (without cleaning) was almost clean. The limescale came off in pieces by itself; there was no need to scrub or boil with vinegar.

We installed the Bauer device with a new heat exchanger into our ventilation and heating system in September 2002.
The piping and some of the equipment have been in operation since 1972. Previously, we used inhibitors and chemical flushing for system maintenance, which was a costly and labor-intensive process and did not yield the desired results.
We are very satisfied with the performance of the Bauer device, as the system has been cleaned and operates without issues.
Rudus Eesti
As we require a large amount of Water in production and were constantly struggling with problems caused by limescale, we have installed Bauer equipment for Water treatment in our concrete plant in Tartu and at 4 sites in Harjumaa.
In the mixing plants, where Water is heated in oil-fired boilers and Bauer AK had been in operation for less than a year, the surfaces of the boiler and fire tubes were free of limescale during the inspection opening.

to prevent limescale formation on water equipment.
This involved continuous labor and material costs, pipeline corrosion occurred, and changes in water conductivity caused disruptions in the operation of server air conditioning units.
We installed the first Bauer AK unit in our water system on February 13, 2003. In this
part of the building, the piping was predominantly galvanized steel, some of it dating back to 1936.
A water sample was taken from the canteen on 17.02.2003, with a repeat analysis from the same location on 16.01.2004:
The comparison of the analyses shows the cleaning of the piping and the reduction of corrosion processes. This is particularly well demonstrated by the 14-fold decrease in zinc dissolution.

The Bauer anti-kristalliner ® AK 2000 1 ½” was installed on January 24, 2001, in the incoming water line, after the water meter, of the water metering unit at the AS Eesti Telefon office building located at Sõle 14 in Tallinn.
Site Parameters:
- Water meter size: 40 mm (1 ½”)
- Cold water consumption at the site up to 420 m³/month
- Peak consumption approx. 5 m³/hour
- Total hardness of cold water 15 dH (5.36 mg-eq/L or 267.0 mg CaCO3/liter) Measured on January 15, 2001
- Building construction year: 1976
- Piping replaced in 1991, galvanized iron pipes installed
- New heat exchanger completed in 1997
- The site has office premises, a canteen, workshops, garages, shower rooms, etc.
