This means that Bauer collects personal data for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and does not process the collected data in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes. The purposes of personal data processing are as follows: product sales; customer relationship management and development; maintaining and developing cooperation relationships; resolving complaints; marketing activities, including sending advertisements and offers; archiving; fulfilling legal obligations.

On What Legal Basis Does Bauer Process Personal Data?

Bauer adheres to the principle of lawfulness when processing personal data. This means that Bauer processes personal data only when there is a legal basis for processing. Bauer processes your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases: pre-contractual negotiations and contract performance; Bauer’s legitimate interest; fulfillment of a legal obligation; your consent.

During pre-contractual negotiations and for the performance of a contract, Bauer needs to process your personal data. Without processing personal data, it is not possible to conduct pre-contractual negotiations or perform the contract. Bearing in mind the aim of processing personal data only to the necessary extent, we process only the personal data required for the conclusion and performance of a specific contract.

Bauer also processes personal data based on legitimate interest. Bauer’s legitimate interest is primarily to improve and develop its services, product selection, and products, as well as client and cooperation relationships. How Long Does Bauer Retain Personal Data?

Bauer adheres to the principle of storage limitation in its activities. This means that Bauer retains your personal data only as long as it is legally justified, i.e., Bauer retains your personal data based on their processing purpose and legal basis. Taking into account the obligations and requirements for personal data retention arising from various forms of relationships and legal acts, it is not possible to exhaustively list the retention periods for personal data. Despite the foregoing, Bauer provides examples of personal data retention periods here, which cannot be considered an exhaustive list: data contained in accounting source documents are retained for 7 years, other personal data are retained for up to 10 years after the irreversible termination of the client relationship.

What are your Rights?

To ensure the transparency and lawfulness of your personal data processing, Bauer hereby informs you of your rights regarding the processing of personal data by Bauer. You have the right to request access to your personal data from Bauer. You also have the right to request the rectification or erasure of personal data or the restriction of personal data processing from Bauer. You can exercise all the aforementioned rights based on the conditions set forth in the relevant regulation.
